I have not had time to post up my pictures for the last week or so, however i have been keeping up so no worries. I plan to get everything caught up in the next few days.

     I love these boots.

Sometimes i feel like im trapped or "locked in". I want to do things, go out and experience life...but cant. I have always lived life one day at a time and have tried to take advantage of every hour of the day, however, lately i just havent had the time to and it sort of bums me out. If I were to compare this feeling to my childhood I would say it's like being in time out and sitting next to your teacher while watching all your classmates play during recess.

RAIN. For the first time in I dont know how long here in Lubbock. I took this photo in between showers.

OK so im goin to start using 366 instead of 365. It is a leap year so there is an extra day, however i started this project mid december so i figured i would just do 365 days and be done with it. but now that i have seen other year long project blogs i seem to be the only person not on board with the leap year numbering. im not necessarily following suit with everyone else...i just figure that since this project would be ending right before the end of the year anyway, i may as well finish out 2012 and have a few bonus 2011 photos.

I missed focus a little but like the overall effect of this shot.

    Bio

My name is Paul and I currently live in Lubbock, Tx. I enjoy playing Paintball, Cycling,     anything involving electronics, and Photography to name a few.

My interest in photography actually stemmed from an interest in videography. At an early age i would make home videos featuring exploding hotwheels, primitive horror films and even the more adventurous videos of my friends and i bombing hills on longboards and home made street luges. It was when i started dabbling in stop motion videography that i became interested in photography. I started out with my mother's point and shoot, yet i felt like there was so much untapped potential unachievable with her camera that i decided rather quickly that i needed a better one. By this time i had a job and after a couple of months got myself a bigger better camera. I joined a camera club in high school and a few years after graduating i got my hands on a Pentax DSLR. Pentax really appealed to me because of the enormous amount of compatibility with older, less expensive lenses.

Photography has been a part of my life for about 7 years now, although it has been a serious passion for only about 2-4 years on and off.
